Makes since that this is a thing I just never thought about it. I guess it also makes since to pick a blood red truck when this is your profession.

Do cows have OBD:II ports then ?

Weirder still since the medical examination of a dead animal is called a “necropsy” not an “autopsy.”

So where do you plug in the scanner?

Gonna guess that’s just for clarity/familiarity.

Animal husbandry and large animal veterinary medicine is a ludicrously lucrative business

Sometimes they have inspection ports:

Anyone who deals with animals knows it’s “necropsy,” though. It’d be like a cardiologist calling themselves a “heart doctor” or an oncologist calling themselves a “cancer doctor.” It’s just not something you do when you’re a professional.

Yeah, I do find it odd considering that livestock owners are typically very knowledgeable/professional about animals. It’d make more sense at a “pet” vet.

Wow. I definitely didn't know that. Do they live okay with the porthole?

I’ve seen one of these... super weird. Seems cruel, but it’s a cruel world for cows anyway.

Plus you don’t have to deal with Cat and Dog owners.

I think so? Don’t know too much about it. I’d assume higher infection risk, but they seem to live more or less normal lives.

That's what I was thinking, a perfect entry point for flies

Normally it is covered with a plastic window, so stuff can’t get in there.
